Homemade Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1½ Cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 Teaspoons baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon baking soda
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup of milk
- ¼ Cup melted butter
Directions:
To get started, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Transfer the mix to a resealable plastic bag for storage if planning to make on a different day. When ready to cook, add 1 cup milk, 2 eggs and 1/4 cup melted butter to the mix and mix well.
Pancakes should be cooked in a flat. non-stick pan or on a non-stick griddle (a griddle is the best option because you can make 6-8 pancakes at one time) over medium high heat. When bubbles start to form on the top of the pancake, flip them to cook the other side promptly. Your pancake should be light, golden brown on each side when ready. Serve with maple syrup, fresh fruit, and enjoy!
