The 3rd Annual Michigan Taco Fest at Canterbury Village June 24-26, 2022

The 3rd Annual Michigan Taco Fest, presented by CV Events and produced by the nonprofit organization, Friends of the Castle, is returning to Canterbury Village in Lake Orion located at 2359 Joslyn Ct., this June! This event will be bigger than ever!

The original Michigan Taco Fest will welcome thousands of guests from all over the country for three days of tacos, seven stages of entertainment and activities, over forty different types of tequilas, and an endless amount of delicious food and fun.

Guests are welcome to enjoy strolling Mariachi bands, signature Mexican dishes, and desserts, several contests including taco and hot pepper eating, taco songwriting, and “Cutest Chihuahua” contests. And, there’s more! Lucha Libre wrestling, a mechanical bull challenge, fun lawn games, a pinata play area, and a sombrero decorating contest are events also available to attendees!

if you love to dance, you can also take part in dance lessons taught by professional dance instructors who will be teaching the Salsa, Rumba, Cha-Cha, and other classics. For attendees who just love to chill, there will be showstopping entertainment and activities on seven stages throughout the event featuring live bands, acoustic performances, a dedicated demonstration stage showcasing cooking from some of the area’s top Mexican restaurants, margarita making, and a dedicated kid’s stage and kid’s zone with bounce houses, face painting, and family entertainment.

Michigan Taco Fest is known to showcase an unparalleled selection of unique cuisines, desserts, food trucks, and of course a large array of tacos.  Adult beverages will also be available such as cervezas, margaritas, Palomas, specialty cocktails, and many tequilas to choose from.

  • 2 ticketed sessions are available each day to choose from:
  • Friday, June 24, 2022, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 26, 2022, 11:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • TICKETS:  $5* per person 
  • Children under 3, Military, and Veterans are FREE. *Additional service fees will apply.
  • Parking is $5.
