Let’s Fly a Kite on Belle Isle at the 3rd Annual Detroit Kite Festival
The 3rd Annual Detroit Kite Festival is almost here! Join us and several Michigan families on beautiful Belle Isle for an easy, breezy kite festival, Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bring your friends and family and spend a special day together! Guests are welcome to bring their own kite, buy a kite on site or the kids can make their own with on-site kitemaking by the Detroit Institute of Arts. The day will entail kite-related activities and professional kite flyers showing off their skills. Performances by Detroit’s own WindJammers Kite Team are returning again this year too!
