Cullen Plaza Solar Eclipse Watch Party

Looking forward to seeing a near total solar eclipse? All ages are welcome! Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, Outdoor Adventure Center, and Huron Clinton Metroparks on Monday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Cullen Plaza. This location will offer 99% totality (weather permitting). Be sure to arrive early as the eclipse should come into view at 1:58 p.m. and reach 99% totality by 3:14 p.m.

Guests will receive a free pair of viewing glasses to protect their eyes (while supplies last) and will enjoy fun themed snacks such as Sun Chips and Moon Pies. Guests will also be able to view the eclipse through a large telescope with staff from the Huron Clinton Metroparks.
