Glenlore Trails Opens Debuting the Haunted Forest: CarnEvil
Immersive and Illuminated Outdoor Night Walk Experience
Glenlore Trail’s illuminated forest is returning for its fourth year and has transformed their haunted forest into this year’s theme, “CarnEvil”. This will be one of the most captivating and enchanting experiences yet, encompassing a circus flair, that includes fun and interactive games throughout the trail.
Guests are welcome to attend CarnEvil an immersive night walk Thursday through Sunday evenings starting, September 22, 2023 (opening night at 8pm) until October 29, 2023 to immerse themselves in an outdoor one-mile spellbinding walk with sensory installations designed to amaze and entertain.
Glenlore Trails is supported by Bluewater Technologies Group, one of the most trusted event staging and AV integrators in the country, who supports sensory storytelling across digital and physical canvases. The forest walk, which will take approximnately one-hour, will come to life with a dazzling display of lights, sounds, and wonder. Guests may encounter live performances along the trail including dancers, musicians, and theatrical moments.
Glenlore Trails is an outdoor experience located at 3860 Newton Road in Commerce Township. set up along one mile of wooded, manicured (not paved) trail. The trail is stroller, wagon, and wheelchair accessible.

- 3 years and Under: Free
- 4-12 years: $15
- 13-64 years: $25
- 65+: $20
- Group Rates: $18-$22
The Haunted Forest: CarnEvil runs September 22 – October 29, 2023. Open Thursday – Sunday evenings. Start times vary by day but typically begin around 7:00pm with the final entry around 10:15pm. Guests are asked to arrive within 15 minutes of their ticketed time.
Opening Weekend Times:
- Friday, September 22 – 8:00pm-10:15pm*
- Saturday, September 23 – 8:00pm-10:15pm*
- Sunday, September 24 – 8:00pm-10:15pm
*Friday & Saturday – DJ until 11pm, Balloon twisters and face painting until 9:30 pm.
