Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally

Plus, they have a giant pumpkin patch right in the heart of the city where little ones can pick and decorate their own jack-o’-lanterns.
2. Halloween at Greenfield Village

If you’re up for a quick family day trip to the west side of the state, head over to Holland! Famous for its spring tulips, Holland turns into a fall haven every October. Watch professional pumpkin carvers sculpt massive 800+ pound pumpkins live on the street, browse the artisan markets, enjoy street performers, and even let the kids help plant tulip bulbs for next spring!
