The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit’s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping and dining destination, is celebrating Summer with a variety of events and musical performances all summer long. Grab the family and join in on the fun as you stroll around the beautiful landscaped outdoor shopping center with over 50 unique and sought-after retailers and a wide collection of restaurants.
Each week, The Village of Rochester will host a variety of free events that are open to the public! These family-friendly events cater to everyone. Whether you’re a small child or a senior, an athlete or a musician, a fashionista or a foodie, there is something for you at The Village!

Thursday, June 13
- Musical Performance by UC3 Trio, 5:00pm – 9:00pm, Festival Park.
- Lawn games will be set up around Festival Park for you to enjoy while the music plays. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy some free quality entertainment outdoors.
- Musical Performance by Sam Van Wagoner, 4:00pm-7:00pm.
- Mitchell’s Fish Market Patio. Enjoy live music on the patio from Sam Van Wagoner as you enjoy dinner and drinks at Mitchell’s Fish Market.
Friday, June 14
- Musical Performance by Trio Grande, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Festival Park.
- Lawn games will be set up around Festival Park and guests are encouraged to not only bring their appetites and experience some of The Village’s delicious dining options, including Food Trucks, but a blanket or lawn chair so you can enjoy the free musical entertainment in the beautiful outdoors.
- Food Truck Friday, 5:00pm-9:00pm.
- Experience food lovers’ paradise every Friday night at The Village of Rochester Hills. Treat yourself to an enticing assortment of flavors served up by local food trucks, from savory to indulgent sweets. Explore vibrant shops, discover the latest fashion trends, and stop by Festival Park and listen to some amazing living music as you tantalize your taste buds. This Friday, Little Donut Truck will on site selling their delectable and delicious donuts!
Saturday, June 15
- Musical Performance by Melissa Behring and Jake Tobias, 5:00pm-8:00pm., Festival Park.
- Saturday nights are meant for moving and grooving. Enjoy a free musical performance from Melissa and Jake this Saturday night and get ready to dance and sing along. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and get ready for a fun family-friendly night out. Lawn games will also be set up around Festival Park for your enjoyment.
Sunday, June 16
- Musical Performance by MOBILE DUELING PIANOS SHOW, 3:00pm-6:00pm, Festival Park.
- This fun and interactive musical act will have everyone dancing and singing along. Delight in the mesmerizing melodies as two pianists engage in a friendly musical battle, captivating the audience with their extraordinary talent and infectious energy. Start thinking of songs now as audience members will have the ability to request their own songs to be sung throughout the afternoon.
Tuesday, June 18
- Music & Me Too Class: “Water Play,” 10:00am-10:45am, Festival Park
- Mommies and Daddies, Grandmas and Grandpas, and Uncles and Aunts are invited to bring their little ones and participate in these fun, free, and interactive music classes. Bring your little ones and a blanket (classes are geared towards children birth to five years) and get ready to sing, dance, and shake rhythmic instruments together! A new musical theme will be explored each week. Tuesday’s classes are led by Ms. Jenna from Music Together who teaches Mini Musicians classes.
Wednesday, June 19
- Music & Me Class “All About Colors” with Ms. Calissa, 10:00am-10:45am., Festival Park.
- Mommies and Daddies, Grandmas and Grandpas, and Uncles and Aunts are invited to bring their little ones and participate in these fun, free, and interactive music classes. Bring your little ones and a blanket (classes are geared towards children birth to five years) as you bond with them over music, movement, and activities that support speech, language, and social skill development. A new musical theme will be explored each week. Wednesday’s classes are led by Ms. Calissa from Sing Play Speak and she will help build essential language and communication skills with your little ones while discovering the magic of rhythm and melody.
Thursday, June 20
- The Jackson Restaurant Grand Opening, 5:00pm-9:00pm.
- The Jackson Restaurant will open its doors to the public for the first time on Thursday, June 20. The restaurant, owned by Rochester Hills native JustinVaiciunas and East Lansing native Michael Mauro have created a culinary destination inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock, that reflects a commitment to culinary and artistic excellence. Justin will create a menu focusing on artistic presentation, seasonality, and local sourcing while Michael will provide guests with a curated selection of new and old-world wines as well as elevated cocktails.
- Musical Performance by Zen Again Acoustics, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Festival Park.
- Every Thursday night, you can enjoy performances by local musical talent. This week, you can experience the sounds of summer with Zen Again Acoustics. Lawn games will be set up around Festival Park for you to enjoy while the music plays. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy some free quality entertainment outdoors.
- Musical Performance by Sam Van Wagoner, 4:00pm-7:00pm., Mitchell’s Fish Market Patio
