Watch 19th Century Stories Come to Life
Are you ready to see characters from your favorite 19th century stories come to life? The theme this year is 19th Century Rhymes during the Crossroads Village annual event, Literary Day. Before TV and movies became so popular, storybooks gave children a way to escape their realities of their daily lives. Through the pages of a book, they could explore far-a-way places, go on adventures with the book’s characters, solve mysteries and be heroes!
On August 11, 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm, attendees can explore 19th century nursery rhymes with crafts, games and fun at Crossroads Village. Make sure to come dressed up as your favorite nursery rhyme character.
