Another great holiday event in the Detroit Area.
With more than 100,000 glimmering lights and 100 luminaries, Ford House will shine brighter than ever this holiday season. As visitors stroll through the lighted path, they can stop to listen to a holiday tale around the fire or enjoy the sounds of festive holiday music. Additionally, Santa’s Workshop in the South Cottage will be open the entire evening where visitors can visit with Santa.
Christmas time at Ford House offers a distinctive peek into the lives of one of America’s most beloved families. Visitors experience the breathtaking décor reflecting the Fords’ love of design while hearing about the family’s treasured moments spent together at the estate.
New this year, Ford House teamed up with elementary schools in Grosse Pointe and St. Clair Shores for a “Trim a Tree” competition, where students decorated a 4’ spruce tree, in their own interpretation of “Winter Wonderland.”
