About a week ago, I was invited for a day of pampering at D. Tour Spa at The MotorCity Casino Hotel. First off let me tell you a bit about D.Tour Spa. D. Tour Spa defines the Urban Spa Experience with an offering of unique spa adventures. Their 13,000-square-foot facility features dedicated lounges that include thermal whirlpools, large steam rooms, dry saunas and rain shower facilities. They also offer 10 private treatment rooms with a specialized selection of massage and body treatments and expert finishing touches to bring out your best. I can honestly say my spa day experience was amazing and it could not have come at a better time!
When I arrived for my day of pampering, I was greeted by the most welcoming people, a delicious brunch complete with mimosas, a comfy robe, and sandals that were given to me by size. I anxiously awaited the four treatments they had planned for me which included a Swedish Massage, an Urban Escape Facial, a Manicure, a Pedicure, and a Spa Swag Bag .
I can honestly tell you that the treatments were fantastic. The staff was amazing and so helpful. The rooms were relaxing and everyone always had a bottle of water for me! The spa was impressively clean. The bathroom had toothbrushes, hair brushes, hair spray, gel, anything imaginable for your own personal use. I even received a swag bag with even more goodies inside.
There are SO many things that D. Tour Spa has to offer! I highly recommend you check it out!! Aside from massages, facials, manicures, etc they do have a fitness center for your use. I think a gift certificate here, would make the perfect Christmas or Birthday present. With the holidays quickly approaching, I think it would be a wonderful idea – HINT HINT if anyone I know, who buys presents, is reading!!!
After my relaxing morning and brunch, I decided to play $20.00 at MotorCity Casino and you will never guess what happened!!??? I ended up winning $780.00 dollars, betting $9.00 by complete accident!! I thought I placed a .90 cent max bet!! Best mistake I ever made!!
