With summer vacation on the horizon, parents are on the lookout for camps to keep their children happy and engaged.  But what if your youngsters are less into making lanyards and more keen on learning songs by Van Halen and The Who?  School of Rock, the national leader in music education, is offering one to two week intensive music education sessions where kids can develop their confidence by collaborating and playing music with their peers. I thought your readers might like to hear about this unique alternative to the traditional summer camp experience.

The Rochester School of Rock– located at 415 Walnut Blvd Rochester, Michigan – offers week long camps in July and August for $500 all-inclusive. The school is offering a special of $100 off if you register by 4/1. The Performance Boot camp sessions are a great introduction to the year-round program with intensive individual and group lessons on the instrument of choice. The program culminates in a live performance! If you’d like additional information please let me know or visit
