The 60th Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade Ushers in Santa and Mrs. Claus

The Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade is this Sunday, December 4th.  This year’s theme is Six Decades of Christmas Joy.  Start time is approximately 1:45 p.m. and runs until 4:00.  The Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade is billed as one of the largest Christmas parades in the state ofMichigan.  The parade route will begin near the intersection ofMain Street (also known asRochester Road) and Tienken.  From there it heads south downMain Street toThird Street.  WXYZ will broadcast the parade live.

 

This parade is full of festive floats, marching bands, animals and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus.  It’s a wonderful way to get in the spirit of theHoliday.  Remember – Santa and Mrs. Claus are the last float.

 

You can also visit the Parade Afterglow get together at Bordines Nursery from 4:30 until 5:30. Bring your camera for photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
