These are fun constructions sets that give you the choice of building either a robot or a vehicle. The set that my son received was the KRE-O Optimus Prime 2-in-1 set. It had 90 pieces and kept him occupied for quite a while. First he built the robot and then tore it apart and made the vehicle. This set retails for $7.99 – great for a stocking stuffer.
Hasbro offers many different Transformer Hero sets – ranging in price from approximately $8 up to $60. The more expensive construction set has over 500 pieces.
My son is 7 years old and put it together with only a little help from one of his older cousins. The box says it is appropriate for ages 6-12. He really liked playing with it and now has one of the larger sets on his list for Santa …. I know I know already working it!
