Summer Swim Lessons

Preschool and youth swim lessons are offered at the outdoor Aquatic Center during the summer.  Adult/teen swim lessons, parent/tot, and parent/infant classes are available at the Community Center.  Click here to see offerings.

Water Wave Aerobics and Lifeguard Classes Available!

Get fit in the water wave aerobic classes beginning in mid-June at the Community Center.  If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard, take our American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification class.  Click here for fees, and offerings.

Summer Day Camps at the Community Center

Troy Recreation offers numerous day camp programs during the summer.  Some options include Survivor Camp, Amazing Race, Sportsters, and Water Warriors Camp.  All camps are a week long and take place from 9 am – 4 pm.  Before and after care is available for an additional fee.  Click here for options, dates, and fees.

Troy Sports Camps

More than 16 different sports camps for you to experience this summer.  All camps are led by our award winning varsity coaches from the school district.  Camp offerings include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, speed and agility, extreme recess, gotta dance, track and field, athletic trainer, lacrosse, volleyball, wrestling, competitive swimming, soccer, football, synchronized swimming, and golf.  Sign up now.  Click here for more information.

Skateboarding Camp

Skate Parks are the rage with kids these days, and Troy Recreation department is lucky to have one of the coolest outdoor skate parks in Michigan in their backyard.  Fee includes camp t-shirt and gatorade each day.  Click here for more information.

Preschool Summer Camps

Each camp for ages 3- 5 years will include a variety of activities such as free play, circle time, outdoor play time, music and movement activities.  A small preschool snack will be provided at the end of the class time.  Children must be able to take care of their own bathroom needs.  Click here for options, fees, and times.

Foodmatters – Friday, June 24 from 7 – 8:15 pm at the Community Center

A documentary film that discusses the natural approaches to preventing and reversing cancer, obesity, heart disease, depression, mental illness and many other chronic conditions.  Become informed about the choices you have for you and your family’s health that could save your life.  Moderator is Dr. Justin Berlin.  Fee is $3/resident; $5/non-resident.
