Kenyan naturalist and Detroit Zoo Educational Specialist David Gakure will give an African drum lesson and share stories on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12-13.
There will be live entertainment, arts and crafts, games and educational experiences. The activities are free with Detroit Zoo admission.
The events will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Detroit Zoo admission is $12 for ages 15 and up and $8 for those 2-4 years old.
