This weekend, I participated in a photowalk in Ann Arbor. While it was cold and windy, spirits were high and we had a great time. The leaves provided the perfect backdrop for the wonders of Ann Arbor. I was able to capture these images.
None of these images are edited. All of them are straight from the camera, or should I say phone.
That’s right. I took all of these images with the Droid X. The phone takes phenomenal pictures. I’m blown away by the picture quality and color. This is not your first camera phone! This is the real deal. This is a cell phone, calendar, multi-tasking CAMERA that fits in your purse. If I can take these pictures walking around Ann Arbor, imagine the pictures you can take of your kids when you are out and about.
The Droid X is available from Verizon Wireless. It’s an Android phone with an 8 Megapixel camera,high-def video capabilities and all the apps the Android Market can handle. For more information you can read my review of the Droid X. The Droid X is $199.99 with two-year activation.
Thinking of upgrading to the Droid X? Verizon Wireless wants your old phones to help survivors of domestic violence. Through the HopeLine Project, old phones are recycled or refurbished for those who have been the victims of domestic violence. To participate, just print off a mailing label and send the phone to HopeLine. For more information, read “HopeLine gives life to old phones.”
And now, the disclaimer. The Droid X was provided to me by Verizon Wireless for the photowalk in Ann Arbor. While the phone belongs to Verizon Wireless, the views in herein are my own.
