The Village of Rochester Hills will launch their new Village Kids Club program on Tuesday, June 22 at 11:00am. The summer lineup of Village Kids Club activities includes; free crafts every Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:30pm in Fountain Park and free story time every Wednesday from 11:00am to 11:30am in Festival Park. Children can pick up a membership card to have punched during weekly activities and will receive a prize pack for attending 10 activities throughout the summer. In addition, participation prizes will be awarded after story time every Wednesday.
Joining the Village Kids Club is great for Moms too. Children will be entertained at no cost while parents have time to chat with friends or meet other parents from the community. The Village Kids Club brochure, which parents will receive along with their childs’ membership card, features a variety of savings offers from participating stores. This summer, the Village Kids Club is sponsored in part by Auburn Hills based Cornerstone Community Financial and Kiddie Klub, a children’s play center in Rochester Hills.
Children will also have a chance to name the Village Kids Club Blue Bird mascot. A contest entry form will be available in each Village Kids Club brochure where kids can enter a name for the mascot. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, July 14. The winner and mascot’s name will be announced at story time on Wednesday, July 21. The child that submits the winning name will receive a $25 Village gift card and a prize from Brilliant Sky Toys & Books.
