I need to give my personal legal disclaimer up front.

Please be aware that this has nothing to do with the latest FTC ruling on bloggers.  I just have to be honest with you.  I have been a lifelong jerky disdain-er.  Seriously, everyone in my family loves it, but I always abstained when they were eating jerky…of any kind.

So, when I met Janie Honeycutt (the owner of House of Jerky)on the StartupNation web site and she asked me if I liked jerky…um…yeah.  She’s so nice as a person, I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but I’m not real good at lying, either.  So, I tried to be nice about it and said, thanks, but no thanks.  My family likes it, but it’s just not my thing.  I’m sure yours is good, though. 😉 Basically, that was my response.  So, bless her heart, she decided I needed to try hers.

Keep in mind, at the time I was not blogging for any reason, so she wasn’t just sending me jerky to review.  She really thought I’d change my mind if I tried their jerky.  She sent me their Jerky Sampler – Stocking Stuffer.  It included Beef flavors: Natural, Black Pepper, Teriyaki, Hot, Sweet & Spicy and Turkey flavors: Black Pepper, Teriyaki.

She was right!  I’m sold!  What else can I say? I LOVED the teriyaki jerky, both beef and turkey and the natural.  My husband and kids liked the spicy ones just as well.  It was thin & tender enough for me that I didn’t feel like any previous dental work would have to be redone. 😉
