Why is it that the moment kids start running around outside, they seem to fall, trip and bump themselves left and right?
My girls run around the house all day long. They climb the furniture as I repeatedly say, “Get down,” they scooter in the kitchen and they dance their little hearts out and don’t fall, plop or trip once. Then we go outside and it never fails… someone gets hurt.
So, this happened the other day. My 5 year old is running along, not looking and bumps into my 3 year old. I’m sure you can guess what happens next. You got it…3 year starts crying and 5 year old has no idea why. 5 year old has no recollection of using 3 year old as a stopper. Now 3 year old is limping and crying and outdoor fun is no longer fun.
I was at Target the other day and had Neosporin on my shopping list. To my surprise perched there was an entire end cap of “ouch fixers” and there were a few different options for Neosporin. Well, to make a long story short, I picked the Neosporin with the cute little super hero over the one I had originally thought I was going to purchase (the spray) because of the cute little super hero.
Yes, the packaging got me, hook line, and sinker. Congratulations Neosporin! You won!
