British lifestyle brand Ted Baker London opened its first Detroit-area location at Somerset Collection,  April 11, 2019. Ted’s new store will marry 1960s British pop culture with the deeply ingrained legacy of Motown music in Detroit by way of vibrant colors, record decals, and electric neon signs.

The new store features the SS19 collections for menswear, womenswear, and accessories. For the ladies, Ted’s florals are inspired by handpicked flowers with a dark side. He’s also woven geometric prints throughout the season, with bright greens and flashes of fuchsia creating ‘70s inspired patterns, romanticized with Ted’s signature individuality.

Exploring the globe through style, Ted’s SS19 menswear collection employs Nordic-inspired neutrals to kick off the season, contrasted with khaki as a new neutral shade, before going into full technicolor with saturated tropical brights. Ted’s prints are inspired by his travels across Africa with inspiration from jungles and savannahs alike, with a uniquely British twist.

Customers will enjoy a limited-edition bespoke tote bag with any purchase throughout opening weekend, April 11th – 13th, along with treats and music in-store.
