MJR Theatres Set to Introduce RP1, A New Gaming and Entertainment Lounge Coming to MJR Southgate Cinema
MJR Theatres, a State-of-the-Art Multiplex Cinema Operator is excited to announce the opening of RP1, a new gaming and entertainment lounge set to debut this May at the MJR Southgate Cinema. This cutting-edge entertainment space redefines console gaming by offering players and spectators an unparalleled experience with massive 11-foot screens, the latest gaming technology, and a dynamic social atmosphere with a variety of food and beverage options.
MJR Theatres has ten Michigan locations and over 160 screens and now they’re bringing gaming for all ages for video game fun! For over 40 years, MJR has been committed to consistently delivering the ultimate movie-going experience, while providing superior customer service to guests throughout metro Detroit.
Designed for gamers of all types, RP1 will feature semi-private zones equipped with an extensive selection of the latest video games for the most popular gaming consoles. Each zone will accommodate groups of up to four, allowing friends and families to immerse themselves in the action together. Whether playing the same game as a team or choosing different consoles to run simultaneously, RP1 ensures an unmatched level of customization and excitement.
Additionally, guests can enjoy live sporting events and other media, creating the perfect environment for social gatherings, competitive play, or casual entertainment. The lounge can also be booked for private parties, accommodating up to 30 people for a unique and immersive gaming experience.
