Jewel Tones for Everybody!
For years I’ve been giving fashion advice to women of all ages, all nationalities and all economic backgrounds and there’s one piece of advice I’ll never change. If you want to make a statement, if you want to stand out and feel confident, wear a jewel tones.
Not sure what jewel tone works for you ? Gold, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Jade and Amethyst are stunning colors to wear. I’ve been wearing jewel tones for years and can’t remember a time my jewel tone was a bad choice. Here’s a little advice to go by….
If you have blonde hair, Amethyst, Sapphire and Gold definitely work.
If you have blue eyes, play on those beauties and wear Sapphire.
A Gold dress is great for both blondes and brunettes. It’s a beautiful color any time of the year but I particularly love to wear it in the fall.
If you’re a gal with darker features, Ruby is a color everyone will remember you in. Are you a red head? Emerald is your winning choice and will always work with your beautiful features.
If you’re not ready to wear such a bold color in a dress, jumpsuit or top. Start small with a fun accessory such as a hat, a scarf or a jacket/sweater. These items will give you a splash of color but will also help you ease into such bold colors.
