Hazel Park Memorial Weekend Festival/Memorial Day Parade
Hazel Park communities will come together this weekend to honor local and national heroes for a Memorial weekend festival and Memorial Day parade.
The festivities begin today, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Green Acres park located at 620 West Woodward Heights, in Hazel Park.
Maay 29, 2022 Schedule of Events:
- 12 pm-6 pm – Concessions – Community center
- 12 pm-11 pm – Big Rock Amusements – Carnival – Green Acres Park
- 12 pm-11 pm – Hazel Park Lions’s club Refreshment Tent – Refreshment Tent
- 12 pm-5 pm – Children’s Entertainment, Children’s Petting Farm – G.A.Pavilion #2
- 1 pm-2:30 pm – D.J. Mike Dalecke – Refreshment Tent
- 3 pm-6 pm – Detroit Made – Refreshment Tent
- 6:45 pm-10:45 pm – The High Balls – Refreshment Tent
The Hazel Park Memorial Day Parde will be Monday, May 30, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held outside of Hazel Park City Hall by the Veteran Memorial Site before the parade begins at 9:00 am. The parade will begin at Hazel Park Jr. High, and will proceed along Woodward Heights and then to Green Acres Park.
