Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade
The Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas parade in Michigan brought to you by the Rochester Regional Chamber Foundation will be held a 2pm, December 1, 2023 downtown Rochester, Mi. The parade will feature over 100 entries marching down a one and a half mile route downtown Rochester and will draw thousands of visitors and residents to town.
The parade attracts tens of thousands to the Rochester area. The parade is typically held on the first Sunday in December each year. Started by the Lion’s Club in the 1950’s, the parade became the responsibility of the Chamber in the early 1960’s.
Spectators are welcome to come on downtown, grab a spot along Main St., and watch over 100 floats, marching bands and community groups walk the parade! It’s a fun family-friendly event with much anticipation of the final float, graciously donated by Bordine’s Nursey, carrying Santa and Mrs. Claus.
