Warren Community Center Indoor Water Park: Fall and Winter Birthday Venue

Warren Community Center Indoor Water Park:

Fall and Winter Birthday Venue

Detroit Mommies! I’m in awe of how fast this year is going by…fall is right around the corner. Speaking of fall, do any of your kids have a winter birthday like mine? Finding an indoor venue that is fun, safe, and budget friendly pops across my radar each year. One of my best friends introduced me to the Warren Community Center Indoor Water Park and I was really impressed with our whole experience.

Address: 5460 Arden (South of 14 Mile Road, west of Mound Road)

The Party Room has plenty of tables, chairs and space for the kids to move about. The center has included a convenient option to pull up to the building to unload and then park. I loved the fact the room included a tidy kitchen and a long countertop suitable for food, drinks, dessert and gifts.

After the food and singing, the entire group headed out into the water park. Guests who were swimming change in the family friendly locker room that has private rooms. The changing rooms include a shower, sink, toilet, baby changing station and electrical sockets. All guests have a place to sit poolside at round tables or in chaise loungers for a fun experience whether they are  swimming or just watching.

Most notably, I was very impressed that the layout allowed me to see my kids whether they were playing together or separately with very little walking around. I loved that there were very focused lifeguards stationed all throughout the play and swim areas, every few feet. You’ll love the play structure, complete with a huge bucket on top that fills up and then dumps out a ton of water! The lazy river with inner tubes is right next to an awesome water slide, complete with lifeguards at the top and bottom.  On the other side is the room you’ll find a separate lap pool that has an area for basketball and games. We stayed for probably about two and a half hours and played hard the entire time. Bathrooms are easily accessible and family style.

Naturally, the kids and I had an absolute riot. I had so much fun that forgot that I didn’t want to get my hair wet, and it was 100% worth it to be playing in the water alongside my kids, laughing hysterically at that huge bucket!
