We’re excited to share the NEW trailer and poster of Disney Pixar’s COCO with all of you! If you’re a fan of the popular Toy Story 3 film, then you’ll love Coco! Toy Story 3 was proven to be the third highest-grossing animated movie in the box office so when we heard Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson were teaming up again, we secretly did back flips with excitement. Ok, maybe not, but we really, really wanted to!
Inspired by the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos, Coco follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery, leading to an extraordinary family reunion. Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following several mysteries. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
