This recipe combines two of my favorite summertime fruits – blueberries and peaches. Every year we pick tons of blueberries and freeze them to last through out the year. Peaches are a different story – we eat them straight up. A few weeks ago while shopping at Eastern Market my husband bought a bag of locally grown peaches – they were delicious!
Since there were too many peaches to eat before the fruit flies got them, I used some of them in this recipe for Classic Peach and Blueberry Crisp. It turned out all bubbly and fruity – perfect with vanilla ice cream. This recipe is very easy to make, it’s a perfect dessert to have the kids help prepare.
