The biggest parade in town is less than a month away! The 64th Annual Rochester Hometown Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th from 2-4:00 p.m. The theme for this years parade is “The sounds of Christmas” – come out to hear the sounds of holiday songs and carols brought to life.
The Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade starts at the north end of town at the intersection of Tienken Road and Rochester Road. From there it heads south through downtown Rochester. People line the streets for one of the best parades in the area.
My tip is to stake out a spot on the west side of the street – so the wind is at your back. Details on the shuttle bus service have not yet be released. For up-to-the-minute details follow on Facebook.
