In my opinion, there is no better way to get into the Holiday spirit than to go to a parade! What’s not to love? Marching bands, horses, floats, dancers, dogs, and don’t forget Santa! Below is our list of some of the great parades coming soon to the Metro Detroit Area.
p.s. – This time of year it can get quite cold and windy, my one and only tip for a successful parade outing is to stand on the side of the road where the wind is against your back…..not blowing into your face!
Northville – The Holiday Lighted Parade will be held November 21, 2014 at 6:30 in Downtown Northville. There will be a community sing-a-long and tree lighting ceremony after the parade. For more information please check their website.

Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade – The 63rd annual parade will take place on December 7, 2014 at approximately 2:00. This years theme is “A Movie Time Christmas – featuring new and timeless films watched over the holiday season”. For more information please visit their website.
