Today, November 7, 2014, Walt Disney Animation Studios released “Big Hero 6”. My ten year old son and I caught a sneak preview of it earlier in the week and LOVED IT! It’s packed with action and (mostly) adorable characters. BayMax – your personal health care companion is funny, lovable and will steal your heart!
The story starts out when boy robotic genius, Hiro Hamada, is inspired to do more with his immense knowledge of robotics. His older brother, Tadashi – along with his group of funny and competitive friends, show Hiro how to do something much more productive with his smarts than just fighting robots. Hiro creates a much sought after Microbot that everyone tries to get a piece of. Then the unthinkable happens and this action-pack movie really takes off. Hiro, BayMax and all the gang come together to solve the big MicroBot mystery. Big Hero 6 is (rated PG). We saw the movie in 3D and loved every second of it.
My son was so inspired by this movie that the next day he and the neighbor kid dismantled an old ipod to see how it worked. He is already planning on see it again with his friends.
Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014. (WALT DISNEY PICTURES) This film is rated PG.
