I was provided with a pair of MaternaSole inner soles to try out during my pregnancy. The thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.

Detroit-based podiatrist Dr. Lawrence Brown has developed the MaternaSole, an insole specially designed to provide support to pregnant women. These thin, plastic inserts can help ease some of the pain that comes along with a growing belly and shifting center of gravity.
Dr. Brown tested these orthotics on a large group of pregnant women in their third trimester. Eighty-percent of the participants reported a reduction in forefoot pressure. I recently conducted my own test. I tried a pair as I waddled through the last few weeks of my pregnancy. You can check out my experience, a video of how they work and the reasons I gave them two big toes up.
The MaternaSoles were like walking on air, which is essentially what is happening. The orthotic shell is lined with unbreakable bubbles on the bottom side. This design absorbs impact and stabilizes the foot and ankle.
The MaternaSoles are $29 and available for shoe sizes 6-11. They are available through a limited number of outlets, including Inner Sole Group. They will be available online in the coming weeks.
