I discovered the best cream cheese I have ever tasted in my entire life, besides Tim Horton’s plain cream cheese. Actually, they can’t compete because they are so different and both make me weak in the knees.
I discovered the new Jalapeño cream cheese by Philadelphia Cream Cheese (who is not who sponsored this post.) I am hooked and crave the spicy, white and creamy deliciousness every moment of my waking day.
I decided to use it to make a sandwich, along with Udi’s Millet Chia (sponsor) and avocado. One thing I was really surprised about was that the Udi’s Millet Chia bread felt hard, but after grilling the sandwich with butter, the bread was surprisingly soft and very delicious! And, I tell you…best sandwich I have eaten in a VERY long time!
Avocado and Jalapeño Cream Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
2 slices Udi’s Millet Chia
2 tbs Jalapeño Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 tbs Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/4 Avocado
1 tbs Margarine
Directions
Spread the jalapeño cream cheese on one side of both slices of bread. Use 1/4 of an avocado, slice and place slices on one side on the bread with cream cheese. Then sprinkle the cheddar cheese on the other piece of bread with cream cheese. Put the sandwich together and melt margarine in a non stick skillet. Place the sandwich on the melted butter in the pan until golden brown. Then flip the sandwich and toast until golden brown.
