Registered therapy dogs are here to listen to children read to them in a one-to-one setting. It is fun and helps improve reading skills because the dog listens attentively and does not judge, laugh, or criticize.
Saturday, January 26th
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Youth Activity Room
Lego Time has moved to Saturdays and expanded to include Duplo builders, too. Drop in on a Saturday morning and spend an hour assembling a Lego or Duplo scene and write about what is happening in it. Your creation and story will be on display at the library until the next Lego and Duplo time. Parental assistance in recording the stories is welcome. Ticketed Drop-In. Limit 30.
Registration is requested. Fill out the form below or call the youth reference desk at 248-246-3725. Sponsored by the Friends of the Royal Oak Public Library.
