On Tuesday, July 2 Walmart will be moving its hiring center into the Novi Walmart location at 2690 Ingersol Drive.
Walmart is hiring approximately 300 new associates to work at the new Walmart slated to open in August in Novi. Walmart has opened a temporary hiring center at 40400 Grand River Ave., Suite B, in Novi.
The hiring center began accepting applications Tuesday, May 29, and will continue accepting applications from:
- 8 a.m. – noon and 1 – 6 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
- 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesdays

According to store manager Aaron Quimby, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. “We are excited to add this Walmart to Novi and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area,” he said. Quimby began his Walmart career in 2000 as a un-loader at a store in Coldwater, Mich.
Quimby said associates are needed to work in all areas of the new store.
Walmart’s benefit program is available to eligible full- and part-time associates and provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits including medical insurance with no lifetime maximum. Walmart also offers matching 401(k) contributions of up to 6 percent of pay, discounts on general merchandise for store associates, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive based on store performance.
The majority of associates will begin work in July to help prepare the store for its grand opening in August.
