Do you ever have one of those mornings where you’re running late before you even get started? We try to organize our clothes, homework, keys etc… before going to bed every night so that we have a smooth morning. This definitely makes the morning routine work so much better.
When it comes to breakfast during the week I usually grab something quick like peanut butter toast or a bowl of cereal. My husband usually has oatmeal and my son has cereal or frozen pancakes. I recently tried a new option for a quick breakfast called Tyson’s Breakfast Bread Bowls. It’s basically a bagel stuffed with cheese, scrambled egg and either sausage or bacon. The bagel, or bread bowl, is just the right size, any bigger and the calories would have been too much (the sausage ones have 250 calories each). You microwave them for about a minute and then let them sit for another minute and you’re ready to go. My son munched on one as we walked to school one day.
We tried the sausage variety and thought they were really good. I picked up my box of Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls at Sam’s Club in a box of twelve for just under ten dollars. You can see more on the shopping trip here. The Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls come wrapped in packages of two. I really like having an additional option for breakfast that keeps in the freezer, can be made quickly and has protein in it – the fact you can hold it in your hand and head out is another big plus.
