My husband and I decided to send our daughter to preschool this fall. She goes to an in-home day care and has spent the last few years in the same environment. We wanted to expose her to a little more. And she was so excited about school, we wanted to harness that.
We shopped around. Being that we didn’t decide until late summer to send her to school, we were sort of behind the curve. Lots of other families had been doing research for months to prepare for their little one’s first educational experience. If you want to be more prepared than I was, take in the Preschool Fair at Clinton-Macomb Public Library this weekend.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, you can meet with preschool representatives from schools all over the metro Detroit area and learn more about what they have to offer.
The Clinton-Macomb Library is located at 40900 Romeo Plank in Clinton Township. For more information, call 586-226-5020.
