This Saturday, December 4, 2010 Detroit mommies, daddies, children, and others from all over metro Detroit are gathering in downtown Birmingham at Einstein Bagels to donate a toy and receive a bagel with cream cheese and a drink for their participation. You are invited to join us!
The toys that are donated will be delivered to the sick children at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
I’ve been lucky to not have to experience what it is like to have a terminally ill child and I wouldn’t wish that feeling on anyone. What I do know is that when my children are sick and suffering, it breaks my heart when they are feeling bad. All I want is for them is to feel better and I know when I hold them in my arms, I am comforting them. For us to be able to donate toys to children that might be spending their holiday’s in a hospital and hopefully put a warm smile on their face is the reason for the season.
Please join us this Saturday, December 4 at 10 a.m. in Birmingham at Einstein Bagels on 176 S. Woodward Ave, drop off an unwrapped toy and then pick up a FREE bagel with cream cheese and a drink.
Let’s put smiles on the sick children in the Children’s Hospital of Michigan this holiday season!
