The Russell Bazaar presents “Family Fun Dayz,” an indoor children’s festival to be held at the Russell Bazaar this Thanksgiving weekend. The festival, which features bounce houses, carnival games, and appearances by popular characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster, will be held Friday and Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Tickets are $7 for the day, and include popcorn, a hot dog, and a soft drink.
Children are invited to dance and play with beloved characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and Spongebob. Admission also includes free face painting, train rides, and access to inflatable play structures like the “Big Kahuna,” a 20 foot tall slide.

The Russell Bazaar, Detroit’s weekend marketplace, is a collective of small businesses in creative industries like fashion design, home decor, accessories, and various gifts. The shops within the Bazaar will be open Friday and Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Thanksgiving Fun Dayz attendees are encouraged to explore the shops of the Bazaar.
