Oakland County Parks and Recreation invites fans and their furry friends to the MSU vs. UM Doggie TAILgating Party at Lyon Oaks, Orion Oaks and Red Oaks dog parks on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10-11 a.m.
“This is a great way for dog lovers to get pumped up for the game and show team spirit,” Parks Helper Maureen Jones said.
The pre-game pooch party features contests and prizes for “Best Furry Fan” and “Best Furry Fan and Owner Team”. Pre-gamers can also enjoy football-themed activities and promotional items. Visit the Events Calendar on DestinationOakland.com for a list of contests, games and activities.

All dog parks offer complimentary pet waste bags, doggie drinking water, picnic tables, benches and portable toilets. Each dog park offers a small dog area for dogs 20 pounds or less.
Oakland County Parks and Recreation Annual Vehicle Permit or daily park pass is required for park entry.
Lyon Oaks Dog Park is located at 5221 Pontiac Trail in Wixom. Orion Oaks County Park is located at 2301 Clarkston Road in Orion Township. Red Oaks Dog Park is located at 31353 Dequindre Road in Madison Heights.
