Celebrate the Season of Beer at the 12th Annual Rochester Mills Beer Company 2010 Oktoberfest September 24 and 25, 2010.
The celebration is a family-friendly event featuring German-style cuisine and beer under a huge American-made tent. Enjoy live music, dancing and children’s activities taking place behind the brewery’s Rochester location during the two-day extravaganza.
Fun for the entire family includes carnival games, moonwalks, pony rides, petting zoo, clowns, balloon and tattoo artists for the kids. Those young at heart can participate in the ever-popular sauerkraut-eating contest or be entertained by traditional German music and dancing.
The festival tent is open from 5-11 p.m. on Friday and from 1-11 p.m. pm on Saturday. Admission is only $5 for adults; children 16 and under get in free (with a paid adult). All proceeds from the annual event benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan and the YMCA North Oakland County Waves swim club.
