Help less fortunate students get tools they need

I don’t have school-aged children…yet. I have one who is almost there. Every time we walk into one of our favorite stores, she basically fawns over the rows of colored pencils, crayons, markers, scissors and other pretty school supplies.
When she does go to school, we will browse those aisle for real, making sure she has everything she needs to succeed in school. Because we can. It pains me to think about the families who are struggling to get to their elementary, middle or high school every day. Children don’t have books, back packs or even pencils because they just can’t afford it. They don’t have the very tools that will help them to find their purpose and their passion.

But this fall, DaySpring is partnership with Adopt-A-Classroom to do something about that. They are working to bring school supplies to children who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it.

We will be praying for everyone going back to school this fall and hope to be able to donate some school supplies through our local Walmart to students who need them. What can you do to help?

Well, just join DaySpring’s #WithPurpose Campaign to support the company’s effort to donate $5,000 in product to Adopt-A-Classoom.
