Sometimes I feel like the Energizer Bunny. I have those days that just fall right into place. We are on time everywhere, the laundry gets done, the dishes are clean and put away, the toys are picked up and everything I planned on getting done on Detroit Mommies, is done.
Life does not always flow beautifully though and sometimes I need the Energizer bunny to take me by the hand and help me along. These are the days nothing goes right, the stress level starts to rise and my only salvation are that all my children’s toys are in working order, so that I get a much needed break from a stressful day.
When I was a kid the only electronic I remember was my pink boom box that I would take out in the backyard and make up dances to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. That would entertain me for hours. These days practically every toy in my children’s room needs a battery to function properly and they won’t play with the toys who’s batteries have fizzled out. This is why I deserve to be an Energizer Smart ChargHER.
I work very hard online to supplement my husbands income and at the same time I am taking car of my 3 young daughters. Being a mom is a tough job and throwing in the towel is not an option. I work hard just like the Energizer Bunny…I keep going and going and going and going. Winning the Smart ChargHER sponsorship to BlogHer would be a much needed blessing and would take the financial stress of my shoulders so that I can enjoy the reason I am attending BlogHer in the first place… to build relationships.
