I was doing my morning blog hopping yesterday when I saw a post by Katja Presnal from Skimbaco Lifestyle about the new DVD release of Alice in Wonderland into the Blockbuster kiosks. I immediately jumped onto the Blockbuster Express website and reserved a copy to pick up later that afternoon.
I loved, loved, loved the movie because the visuals were extraordinary and magical. The actress that played Alice, Mia Wasikowska, did a fabulous job of portraying the frightened, yet strong willed teen in the whimsical movie. I also loved Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen.
I was slightly afraid the movie would be dark and too scary for my 6 year old, so I didn’t let her watch it, but now, after seeing it, I would allow her to watch if she desired.
