Preschoolers with their parents and/or teachers are invited to participate in the Nursery School Olympics presented by Oakland County Parks on May 14, May 21, and June 4.
Events start at 10 a.m. at these locations:
May 14 – Red Oaks Soccer Fields, 29600 John R, Madison Heights
May 21 – Catalpa Oaks County Park, Catalpa Drive, just west of Greenfield Road
June 4 – Waterford Oaks, 1702 Scott Lake Road, Waterford
Activities include marshmallow shot put, paper plate discus toss, miniature golf, toddler trot, Oakland County Parks inflatables and mascot. A red, white and blue parade concludes the event.
The purpose of the event is fitness and fun, and each participant receives a ribbon.
The cost is $2 per preschooler.
