I get some really cool opportunities and recently I was asked to be the project manager for a project for Hershey’s…yum right! Well, it wasn’t a project where I got to sample Hershey’s products or get to fly out to the Hershey’s headquarters and fill a suitcase with chocolate…it was even better!
I got to get a group of 20 bloggers together that were given a $100 gift card to purchase goodies and put together 2-3 baskets and then donate them to the charity or any individual or group they felt would really enjoy this act of kindness.
Awesome right! So, I decided to do 2 baskets and have 2 of my daughters participate by choosing everything from the basket, to the grass and all the Hershey’s goodies to put inside. We went to Walmart as a family and for 2 hours…yes, you read that right, we gathered and gathered lots of scrumptious goodies. Walmart has some really cute “exclusive to Walmart” Hershey’s candies this Easter! We chose a chocolate cross, pastel colored bags of Resee’s peanut butter cups, the classic pastel colored chocolate eggs, Cadbury miniature classic and caramel filled eggs, cute bunny foiled chocolates and so much more! Is your mouth watering yet?!
Walmart had everything you need to put together a fantastic basket!
We are planning on giving the baskets to the nurses at the Detroit Children’s Hospital to thank them for all that they do for the children that they take care of. I really don’t know if I could handle the heartache that goes along with having their job and I know a little Hershey’s would put a smile on their faces.

Also, if you have a blog and would like to participate in a wonderful blog hop where Hershey’s is giving $10 for every blog post to the Children’s Miracle Network, go (here).
