Dearborn Heights Panera Bread offers free treats March 9
The Panera Bread bakery-cafe located at 26580 Ford Rd. in Dearborn Heights will salute 10 years of fresh bread on Tuesday, March 9. To celebrate, free treats will be given to customers throughout the day.
Beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, Panera Bread invites customers to stop by for a complimentary small coffee. The first 100 customers will receive a mini baguette and in the afternoon customers will be offered complimentary mini cookies to commemorate the milestone.
“Reaching 10 years of service is an incredible accomplishment, and we have our employees and customers to thank for it,” said Garry Hiser, district manager for Panera Bread of the Great Lakes Region. “This milestone embraces the idea that Dearborn Heights residents have really accepted us as a member of their community.”
Customers can also enter to win a lunch for four people by dropping their business card in a bowl. The general manager at the bakery-cafe will randomly draw the winner at the end of the day on March 9.
During the past decade, Panera has seen tremendous development in southeast Michigan, growing to 48 bakery-cafe locations. Today, bakery-cafe locations across metro Detroit attract customers who crave the origin of all things Panera – artisan bread, fresh pastries, and signature soups, salads, and sandwiches.
The Dearborn Heights location has recently expanded its menu for 2010. Customers can enjoy Panera’s new Asiago Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, Mediterranean Salmon Salad, Salmon Caesar Salad, Salmon Club Croissant, Low-Fat Garden Vegetable Soup and Low-Fat Black Cherry Smoothie.
