My heart flutters over anything vintage. I collect cute vintage salt and pepper shakers and love walking antique stores. I actually haven’t been to an antique store in about 5 years (my oldest is 6 years old) because little hands love to touch things and most antique stores I have frequented have way too many tempting trinkets to touch. It’s just better I stay away until I have a free moment to go by myself or the girls get old enough to finally listen when I say, “Don’t touch.”
Anyway, I was given the opportunity by Nico and Zoe Toys to review the vintage inspired book, Red Riding Hood by Laughing Elephant. Every parent knows the story of the little girl that earned her nick name because of the red cloak she wore that was on her way to grandmother’s house when she was greeted by the big bad wolf. Grandmother was gobbled up and Red Riding Hood gets away only to have learned a lesson of listening to her mother. Don’t we wish they would all listen!
The book is adorable! I so love the 20th century prints and the story was cute. You can choose from Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Bears, classic Mother Goose, Hansel & Gretel, and The Three Bears.
These books would make a great gift to add to a child’s collection of classic story books.
