As a child one of my favorite books of all times was Busytown Mysteries by Richard Scarry! And, I wasn’t the only one! Over 150 million copies have been sold in the last 40 years and the books have been translated into 30 languages!
I loved the characters Lowly Worm and Huckle Cat and reading all about the mysteries they had to solve.
That’s why when I was asked to review the new Busytown Mysteries TV show, I got excited for my daughters.
You can watch Busytown Mysteries on CBS weekend mornings. The program in made up of two 11-minute stories per episode. One thing I noticed is that my daughters were very relaxed while watching the show. They curled up on the couch and watched the episode without a peep coming from their mouths. They were very intrigued by the show and listened and watched intently.
Hey, that was great for me because I was able to get some writing in and enjoy the quiet for a whole 1/2 hour!
