My daughter brought this book home from school the other day as her library check out book and last night during dinner I read it to my girls.
I have a problem with children’s book because most of the time they are boring, but this one was great!
Mrs. McMurphy’s Pumpkin by Rick Walton not only keeps you on the edge of your seat with delightful entertainment, but it’s kinda spooky too. It could seriously be written for an adult by changing the ending because the ending is perfect for the kids.
I won’t give any details away, but if you get a chance to stop by the library, I am highly recommending Mrs. McMurphy’s Pumpkin as a great Halloween read! You can also find it on Amazon for $8.99.
