If you’re looking for tradition or just want to get messy, take your kids to Spicer Orchards and pick your own fruit.
Spicers, located in Hartland Township at the Clyde Rd. exit off of US 23 offers over 20 varieties of strawberries, cherries, blueberries and apples to pick. You can also stop into their market to simply shop for your favorites as well. If you choose to pick your own, hay wagons will deliver you to the proper spot in the orchard. Spicer Orchards also offers a fantastic children’s play area and animal farm.
Fall brings harvest time to Spicer Orchards. With a variety of events for families every weekend, you can even pick your own pumpkin straight from the patch.
Cider and donuts are a must and the craft boutique is a wonderful place to shop for unique gifts. The atmosphere is family oriented and kids love to visit.
